The U.S. department of the Interior and the National Park Service just added the ROAD ISLAND DINER (O’Mahony Dining Car #1107) to the National Registry of Historic Places. Its listing and historic significance can be viewed at the NPS link…. and at the Utah State Historical society link.…. It is Utah’s only standalone restaurant on its historical list.
